Districts 9 and 11 were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at Route 27 and Middlesex Avenue. Upon arrival, Deputy Chief Bennett reported a two car accident with one driver pinned in the car. Crews from Squad 9-6 and Rescue 9-3-3 quickly deployed the extrication tools and freed the driver from the car. The driver was turned over to Woodbridge Township EMS for treatment and transport to the hospital. The crew from Engine 9-2 stabilized both vehicles.
