Districts 9 and 11 were dispatched to a truck fire at 190 Middlesex-Essex Turnpike at 9:20 AM this morning. Upon arrival, Deputy Chief Bennett reported smoke coming from the rear of a box truck. The crew from Engine 9-2 deployed an 1 3/4 inch hand line and quickly knocked down the fire while the crew from Engine 9-5 performed overhaul. No injuries were reported.
