Annual SCBA Recertification Training Held in January

Firefighters completed their annual SCBA recertification training in January. The training consisted of a classroom presentation and comprehensive test followed by a practical evolution to demonstrate competency. Several scenarios were reviewed to allow firefighters to practice evolutions that may be encountered in a structure fire, such as moving through diminished clearances or disentangling themselves from wires.
