2 Alarm Fire Damages Apartment Building |

| Districts 9 and 11 were disptached to a possible structure fire at 104 Michael Court. While responding, Deputy Chief Mullen filled out the first alarm assignment based on smoke and an orange glow in the area. Upon arrival, he reported heavy fire venting through the first and second floor windows of a three story apartment building and upgraded the assignment to a second alarm. Crews from 9-5, 9-2-4, and 9-6 advanced two handlines into the building and successfully prevented extension to the third floor. Crews remained on scene for several hours assisting with the investigation and conducting overhaul. |
