| At 18:30 on Saturday, District 9 was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire in the West Parking Deck at Metropark Train Station. Upon the arrival of 9-6 and 9-3-2, smoke was showing from multiple floors on multiple sides of the seven story structure. 9-6 crew entered the structure and located a fully involved vehicle in the middle of the second floor. Due to the heavy smoke condition and mass area, a First Alarm was transmitted for additional manpower and apparatus. The standpipe was charged and crews attacked the fire, containing the fire to one vehicle. Searches were also completed of all seven stories. |
