Iselin District 9 responded to a plane crash at 40 Berkeley Avenue as part of the first alarm assignment. A Cessna 414 twin engine plane crashed into a house starting a fire which extended to the houses on either side. Engine 9-2's crew provided a water supply for an aerial waterway, stretched handlines into the exposure buildings, and assisted with overhaul.
