Districts 9 and 11 were dispatched to a fire at Building 22, Green Hollow Apartments at approximately 2:30 pm on July 3. Upon arrival, Deputy Chief Creighton reported fire showing on the third floor. Quick, aggressive action by the crew of Engine 9-2 led to a quick knock down, containing the fire to the unit of origin. A second alarm was sounded due to the potential of fire spread and adverse weather conditions of high heat and humidity.
