District 9 was dispatched into District 11 to assist with a structure fire in an apartment on the 6th floor at 1422 Oak Tree Road, the Cooper Towers senior citizen's residence. Crews assisted with fire attack, ventilation, and evacuation of the building's residents. Deputy Chief Bennett served as the Operations Section Chief.
