| Upon arrival the crew from Engine 9-2 found a fully involved commercial vehicle fire on the Garden State Parkway Exit 130 southbound ramp and quickly began extinguishing the blaze. Deputy Chief 9-0-2 arrived to take command of the incident with Engine 9-5 providing its tank water to supply Engine 9-2. Neighboring Fords District 7 arrived to provide assistance having been originally dispatched to the incident prior to District 9 when it was reported to be at a different location on the Parkway. Thankfully no one was injured and the vehicle was quickly removed to reopen the Parkway to the summer shore traffic. |
