| It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of active Firefighter George Quattrone. George passed away on Wednesday July 28 at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison after a brief illness.
George joined the fire company on July 11, 1988, and served as a firefighter and apparatus operator. George was also an Emergency Services Dispatcher with Fords Station # 7, and a Charter-Life Member and past Vice President of the Iselin First Aid Squad (now the Woodbridge Township Ambulance and Rescue Squad). George was employed as a Fire Inspector in District #9.
George will be missed by all his friends in the fire company and all of the Woodbridge Township Emergency Responders.
Our sincerest sympathies go out to George's wife Elaine, daughters Elizabeth and Marie, and the entire Quattrone family.
Viewing for FF George Quattrone will be this Monday, August 2nd, at the Flynn & Sons Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue in Fords (directly behind Our Lady of Peace Church). Hours will be from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords on Tuesday, August 3rd, at 10:30 AM.
